With the Seasons expansion for The Sims 4, players gained the ability to ice skate and rollerblade, but only on designated rinks. In real life, you can put on rollerblades and stroll around the city! Now you can do that in The Sims 4 too.
How the “Rollerblades as Footwear Option” mod works:
This mod adds rollerblades as a footwear option and an object. They cannot be found in CAS, but can be purchased in Build Mode. Place them in your Sim’s inventory… and take them out anywhere to skate around!
They are suitable for teens and adults. The item provides three interactions: rollerblade, ice skate, or remove them entirely. Once put on, the skates cannot be removed automatically, except when traveling to another lot, as the walking style will be altered. Sims will need to remove their footwear before swimming.
Since the animation is designed for rinks, it isn’t perfect for open-world use, but it looks quite decent.
The mod includes Russian localization.
