This mod adds numerous random text messages and phone calls from non-playable characters (NPCs) to make your Sims’ relationships with others more realistic. You can expect calls from your Sims’ parents, friends, lovers, and various strangers. Some of these calls will be funny, others helpful, and some are simply designed to annoy your Sims (just like real-life phone calls!). Your Sims’ traits will also influence which calls you receive and what your Sims want to talk about. Additionally, the traits of your active Sims will affect how they react to these calls. For example, social and cheerful Sims will be happy to hear from their friends, but do not expect a lonely Sim to ever truly delight in an unsolicited call. And your rude Sims may not be interested in a juicy late-night message from their partner.
You will receive calls from parents, friends, and lovers, as well as from unfamiliar characters (though not frequently). You might even get a call asking you to vote for a candidate running for office. In that case, it is up to you to decide how to respond.
Furthermore, you may receive calls or messages containing pranks or scams. So read carefully to avoid falling for con artists!
The traits of your townspeople will influence which calls and messages you receive. The traits of your active characters will also affect how they react to them.
There are many different types of messages and calls, which depend on who your character knows, who they are friends with, and who they are feuding with.
For example:
* If your character has a good relationship with their parents, they may call and even give some pocket money.
* Nerds will call their friends to talk about new video games and TV series.
* Eccentric characters will call to tell you about strange things they have seen.
* Self-absorbed characters will call almost everyone they know to talk about themselves.
* And scammers will not miss the chance to trick gullible characters.
