The Sims 4: Cottage Living
Cottage Living turns country life into a full everyday routine. In Henford-on-Bagley, Sims can keep cows, llamas, and chickens, grow regular and oversized crops, cook with fresh ingredients, and enter animals or produce in the Finchwick Fair. Wild rabbits and birds can also become part of the household, bringing small gifts and helping around the garden once you befriend them.
The different systems work especially well together with the Simple Living lot challenge, which requires actual ingredients for cooking. Gardening, animal care, village shopping, and meals then become connected parts of the same household routine. Villager errands and local events also make the family feel more involved in the wider Henford-on-Bagley community.
