The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs

Cats & Dogs adds cats and dogs as full members of the household, each with their own personality, habits, and needs. Create a Pet gives you plenty of control over breed, markings, and appearance, while everyday life is about caring for animals, training them, and building relationships. Pets are not directly controlled like regular Sims, which makes their behavior feel more independent and unpredictable.

The expansion also adds veterinary clinics. Sims can learn the Veterinarian skill, diagnose and treat animals, run their own clinic, and hire staff. Brindleton Bay fits the theme with a quiet coastal setting, parks, and good places for walks, and it remains a useful family world even in saves where pets are not the main focus.
