The Sims 4: Businesses & Hobbies

Businesses & Hobbies takes owning a business far beyond a traditional shop. Sims can open a small business at home or on a separate lot, decide what visitors should do, charge for entry or time, sell handmade items, provide services, and hire employees. The flexible rules make the same system work for very different ideas, from an art studio or gym to a salon, music venue, or teaching space.

The expansion also adds Pottery and Tattooing. Sims can create and glaze ceramics, repair pieces with Kintsugi, design tattoos, and turn both skills into a source of income. Classes and Mentorship make it possible to earn money by teaching too, so a business does not have to revolve around selling physical objects.
